A Matter of Purrspective

BonnieBonnie says:
I was minding my own business, jumping into the boy's chair for a nice, quiet nap. All of a sudden, my paws were attacked from below! So I swatted and growled and hissed, but the monster wouldn't leave my poor toes alone! When I realized it was Victor, I gave him a few good smacks on the face, and he stopped. Then he sat in my man's chair and dared to stare at me. Well, I gave HIM a good staring right back. The nerve of him, attacking me from under the table! My woman was there and didn't do anyfing. Snort.

VictorVictor says:
After brekfest, Bonnie jumped into the boy's chair and I could just see her paws from unner the cloth on the table. So I decided to play wif them! I didn't use my claws at all, I just batted her paws playfully, but she got all upset and had a tantrum. I thought it was funny cuz she was growling and hissing and making such a fuss, but then she hit me in the face and I didn't like that. So I sat in Dad's chair so I could watch her (and the birds outside) from a safe distance. When I looked at her, she looked away, and when I looked away, I saw her looking at me. Mom was in her chair, watching both of us and giggling! It would be fun to play wif Bonnie.

  2. Bombay: "I'm totally with Bonnie on this. Attacks, sniffs and licks of any kind from other cats should be discouraged. And Mommies should always defend their darlings and not just sit there and giggle. Poor Bonnie... I understand!"

Cloey: "Me agrees with Victor. Me thinks it is purrfectly good and fun to play with other kitties. Nothing wrong with a good tumble here and there. Some kitties just need to lighten up, me thinks."

  3. Poor Victor. All he wanted to do was play. I think he needs extra tuna and some petting. And to be told he's a very, very good cat.

  4. I *am*? Thanks, KT! Gee, Dad say's I'm trouble for gettin on the counters and table an asplorin. And sometimes I pounce Bonnie when I know she doesn't like it. But I gets lots of hugs and headbutts and rubs and lap time from all my peoples. Bonnie would if she'd let 'em. They tell her they love her, too.

  5. Sisters can be so confusing sometimes. I don't know why they don't want to play like us boys do. Maybe you need a little bro!

  6. Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie...if you really want to confuse and baffle Victor, you need to be nice to him sometimes. Then he won't know when you are going to play and when you are going to withhold your affection.

Keep him guessing, sister! Don't reject him 100% of the time.

  7. I don't have any other kitties to play with, but when I try to play with my Mom's feet like Victor does with Bonnie I get growled at too. Victor I think you and I each need playful kitty friends to live with.

  8. Bonnie and Victor sounds like Yaffa and Sebastian. They always play fight. And usually they do a lot of smacking each other. Ouch.
