Weird Wednesday

O HALP! Mom tooked me to the VET and LEFT ME THERE! HALP! HALP!
Victor, I'm sorry, but she wants you to have an EKG. They won't hurt you and Dad will pick you up this afternoon.
HALP! Meanie! I's been all snugly an lovin, an DIS is what I gets? Pick me up, you say? So what! I wanna go HOME!
You have a heart murmur and they want to make sure it's nothing serious. You'll be home by dinner, Honey, and this will be just a bad memory.
Dinner? Is we hafin chick-hen? ::spin:: Want chick-hen!
Maybe... we'll see.

Here's some silliness to help you pass the time...

Mom was a Raccoon

The sorting hat says that Mom belongs in Ravenclaw!

Said Ravenclaw, "We'll teach those whose intelligence is surest."

Ravenclaw students tend to be clever, witty, intelligent, and knowledgeable.

Um, Mom? It's Thursday, not Wednesday.

UPDATE midaffernoon:
O HALP! Now dey's stealin mine bloods! I's not finished wif thems yet! Save me!

Ok, Victor, Dad will be there soon. The vet says the EKG is normal, with no thickening of the heart muscles. The next step is to test for hyperthyroidism, though you're young for that and you haven't exactly shown weight loss. Those results will be available on Mancat Monday. The murmur rates a 2 out of 6. Most likely, your heart will murmur at the vet for years and years with no other problems. And yes, you get chick-hen tonight.

  31. We are glad that Victor's heart murmur isn't too bad. We are going to have to try the two quizes. Mom came up Hufflepuff and a swan. Mom is maybe too caring. Oh well, it is a good house. At least she didn't end up in Slytherin - mol.

  32. The "cat who came before" had a heart murmur and he lived to be 19 1/2 years old, and when he did pass, it had nothing to do with his heart. Hope all our tests come back OK!
