Stormy

Somehow it's appropriate that today, as we bid farewell to Storm, the Furry Fighter, we've had stormy weather. Mom compared a thunderstorm to cats at the Bridge playing THOE, flashing their laser eyes, and knocking over the fountain. But this week, it's gone too far. We're ok and there hasn't been much flooding in Madison at all, but other parts of Wisconsin and Iowa haven't been so lucky. We will miss Storm, one of the bravest cats we've known. We also are purraying for all the living things in the flooded and tornado-damaged areas. People, pets, wild aminals, and even plants.

It's been a sad, frightening time lately. We'd like to move ahead and have fun, cuz that's why we started bloggin. I can't wait to haf fun at the party Saturday for Gree an Othello!

  2. Victor, I hadn't thought about the weather until I came here but it's stormy this morning here too! I hope that you get some sun soon!

Willow and I are so sad that Storm had to go to the Bridge but we are glad she isn't in any pain anymore.

See you at the Wedding Shower!

  3. We agree Victor. The cat blogosphere has had too much sadness recently.

We're glad to hear you're dry. Mom was thinking about you this morning what with last night's rain & tornados. We're OK right where we are, but other areas around Milwaukee are bad.

  6. It has been a rough week for beans and animals in the storm ravaged areas.....and it has been a roughweek on the blogosphere. We will miss Storm, and we too are purraying for all the creatures in the ravaged states.

  7. Your storms are headed our way - so we hope that means sunny days for you! We love your Mom's idea about THoE - just the other day there was a storm rolling in and Mommy just smiled and thought of our ones that went before up there playing :-)

  8. Yes the weather has been more than appropriate has it not?

We still haven't heard from our cousin in Waterford (although we did hear from our Aunt in Racine).

  10. Yes, there has been much loss and sadness lately. We must remind ourselves that we would not be able to feel the loss and sadness had there not been so much love and joy. We're purring for Storm's family. Farewell, sweet Stormie.

  11. Even though I cannot help being sad when we lose one of our beloved friends, I do not think they would want us to be sad for them.

  12. We will all miss Stormie, but she is leaving on her own terms just like she lived.

We are hoping you all get some sunny weather soon. Think sunny thoughts for my parents who are heading to the beach tomorrow.

  18. I am been unable to comment lately, mom says she is busy ... but I have been reading.
I am glad you got some closure for Bonnie. It was a pity that she went so suddenly. For Caesar it was the same even though he had some health issues.

We are going to miss Stormie. she is in a better place now - we know that.
she has Caesar and Bonnie to help her start her new life!
