Didja know we gots a meezer in our howse? Dis our meezer: a Siamese Fightin Fish, also called a Betta. Him's name is Richter. He stays on the boy's dresser, where I's not lowed. I don't know why; I'd love to eat, I mean meat, Richter nose to nose, but he nefur comes outa him's bowl of water. If you show him his pictor in a mirror, he'll get all poofy, like a scared kitty!
We useda haf anofur Betta named Quake, but he wented to swim in the pond unner the Rainbow Bridge. Mom said he was in the fambly fur 2 or 3 years an that's long fur a Betta. You can't put two in the same bowl cuz they'll fight, an only the males are really colorful, but Mom says she's seen a few females who were quite pretty in their own way. I guess they's like cats in that no matter how much they fight, there always are plenty of babies!
Daisy had a Betta fur a pet, but him went to the Rainbow Bridge pond, too. He an Quake can swim an poof an fight or be furiends there, an no one gets hurted.
Wow! A meezer fish! How cool is that! Victor, it must be hard not to want to find some sneaky way to m-eat that pretty fish. But he probably tastes icky. Now, go beg for some tuna juice for being such a good good boy ;)

ReplyDeleteVictor, we love Parker's comment. We know what it is like to live thru richter's and quakes. They aren't fun. The last bad one we had, Mom practically squeezed us to death. We like your fishie.

ReplyDeleteHope you all made it through the weekend storms with no damage.
He's a very handsome meezer fish!

Yummy! Er...I mean, how handsome!
ReplyDeleteRichter is a very handsome fish! I don't know why they won't let you meet him? I know you would be very gentle with him - ha, ha, ha....
ReplyDeleteThat is one very cool fishie!
ReplyDeleteHey, we had fishies like that before. They've all gone to swim under the Bridge. Maybe one of them with some help. But I'm not sayin' who helped the one fishie...
ReplyDeleteThey sure are nice to look at, though, when you're not drooling.
Wow, what a cool fish you have! Take good care about Richter!
ReplyDeleteDat is a very pretty fishie! I wonder why Bettas try to beat each other up so much? Hmm. One of mommy's friends learned the hard way dat you can't put a Betta in the same tank as a guppy named Bubba. "Oh... what happened to Bubba? Bubba? BUBBA!"
