This is a story about my beans raising my boy. Scruffy was Snoopervisor at the time and apparently agreed to this routine.
When the boy was learning to eat with a spoon, he insisted on feeding himself, even though all the food fell off on that l-o-n-g journey from plate to open mouth. He'd get bored and stop eating but be hungry again in no time. So we always used 2 spoons - one for him to practice with, and one we could use to shovel food into his gaping maw! He'd get frustrated, drop his spoon, and grab ours because obviously HIS had a hole and OURS worked better! So we'd trade spoons with him and happily get through dinner.Beans. Is. Weird.
We owe you all posts for some awards we've received and the 7 things meme, but the beans haven't been exactly helpful. See above. ~ Bonnie
They are weird, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteA lot of beans haven't been helpful to their kitties lately. I wonder what is going on with that?
We've had a bit of a lack of bean cooperation here, too.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute story about the spoons. hee hee
Love,
Tazo
Our beans have not been helpful either. Sigh. Whatever shall we do to kick them into shape?
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cute story!
ReplyDeleteHey, Victor, I am thinking of putting together a post called 'The Carnival of the White + Tabbie' with you, Parker, Tesla, Beau Beau and Jeter Harris in it. I hope that you and the others won't mind me taking a small photo from your blogs (not the profile photo, that would be too easy and not at all challenging). The idea is to ask the other kitties to put the right name to the pics. What do you think? Do you think the other kitties would mind or do you think I should ask each one individually first? It is only a game and I don't want to upset anycat and/or get myself into trouble.
ReplyDeleteThanks Victor, I have sent around the request to each of the kitties and await their replies. I won't do it if it upsets anyone.
ReplyDeleteHumans can be so difficult to corral into doing stuff... sigh.
ReplyDeleteHeh heh, you beans are funny!
ReplyDeleteOur mommy has been super lazy lately and not helping us at all with our bloggie! Sounds like an epidemic.
They ARE so weird! What would they do without us?
ReplyDeleteYeah, beans are weird!
ReplyDeletejans funny farm
We like the two spoons story - Mum said it reminded her of our small bean cousins (we haven't met them).

Enjoyed the story ... my bean's been down and out, also.
ReplyDeleteYes, humans are weird. While they do show signs of intelligence, they are balanced out with their innate stupidity. If they didn't provide us with free food and scritches, I don't know how us cats would tolerate them.
ReplyDeleteWhut's a spoon?
ReplyDeleteOh dat's a funny story about your bean boy! ;)
ReplyDeleteAwww sweet story.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like two spoons were definitely better than one!
ReplyDeleteWe agree with Daisy, 2 spoons is better than 1. Like 2 cats are better than 1, but that's just silly 'coz nobody has just 1 cat. =^..^=
ReplyDeleteFunny story ~ beans are weird!
ReplyDeleteLove and purrs from the SnowForest family :)
Not sure why but I have been having to wait for a long time to get your page loaded.
ReplyDeleteFive down, one to go and I can start my guess-the-kitty game. I haven't heard from Beau Beau to see whether I can use his picture. All the others are quite happy to be in it. I guess his beans are afflicted by the 'Too-busy' virus to attend to his blog. *sigh*
Hehehe! Well, hope you don't mind one more Award to add to your collection! I nominated you for an Award too!
ReplyDelete~Marie
