Fostering

Charcoalie here.

My mum has taken in two more kitties from my litter on a temporary basis. Fostering, as you will. Sunny and Cloudy were here for a few days while she arranged proper transportation for them. You see, they are on their way to live with those delightful Calico Girls in the Big Piney Woods.

While they were here, I showed S and C my favorite haunt, the dining room table. As Bonnie and Victor are not allowed on the table, it is my sanctuary. Between Bonnie's growling and Victor's playing, a chap can't get enough naps in.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I'm very pleased that my big sisfur Vir-ginger has found a good home with Derby. There's a nice chap.

I have still more littermates and cousins at the Green Wall Garden Ornament Shelters found all over the country. Perhaps you've been there.

All for now. I understand my chums are on their way as I write. Safe travels! Give my regards to the Calico Girls and their mum. Perhaps I'll see you at the Catolympics!

  1. Already a fight has ensued over Sunny and Cloudy. I put Mittens in her place by chasing her under the table. Mistrie is the problem, she just purrs all the time, even when I scream at her, SHUT UP!! Momma (she thinks they belong to her) has been planning where to put them. I am the most excited about them coming.

  2. So cute! We don't have the Green Wall place in the UK otherwise my mum would be straight out to adopt one, I bet!

  3. Vir-ginger says it is so nice that Charcoalie, Sunny and Cloundy found nice homes.

Mum says the shelter is WaLL of Greens, not Green Walls. So run out and see if any of them are there!

  4. Oh dear, I'd hate to think we're causing trouble among our dear Calico Girls. I think their Mom should have the final word on where the kitties belong.

Derby, I suspect the store name may be a bit like Farm & Fleet and Fleet-Farm. But thanks for pointing this out.

Dear Eric, my mum is such a soft touch, you never know...

  6. Momma hopes you aren't upset with her for letting The Twins outside and then loosing them. Thank goodness, they were found and they had an adventure which you can read about tomorrow.
