I could NOT believe my eyes. We had a friend over this afternoon, and Victor is afraid of strangers. He was so outgoing at his adoption fair, I never expected this. Bonnie always meets visitors at the door and puts them in their place. Then she either sticks around, growling under foot, or if they stay in one place, she'll eventually retreat to the bedrooms, returning often to sniff with disdain, clearly saying, "Oh, you're still here?"
When Victor failed to approach our friend at all, I went looking for him. He was somewhere not unexpected... on the boy's bed... with none other than Bonnie! (He's camoflaged on the far left, just below the blinds and next to a big patch of black blanket)
This may not seem like anything to many people, but for Bonnie and Victor to be on the same furniture at the same time... it's HUGE. And Bonnie knew Victor was there. Perhaps she's relaxed her boundaries for him. Perhaps she sensed he was afraid and softened. Perhaps I was imagining things. But I have two pictures and three witnesses to back me up.
BONNIE AND VICTOR WERE ON A BED TOGETHER!
