I need to set the record straight, here. I didn't push Victor. Not really. He just happened to be next to the steps and he just happened to fall down them when I was... patting him on the face.
Although Victor hasn't left, I have begun to return to my normal routine. I demand treats from my woman before she leaves in the morning and I demand my turn in the bathroom before bed (I get a drink from the sink until my man chases me out - it's our own bedtime ritual). I have even allowed Victor to come a bit closer, but not too close, so I can smell him. That's what I was doing when he got too close and I batted him... I mean, patted him... on the face. At the top of the stairs. Uh, um...
Is that the treat bag I hear? Must dash.
Sebastian loves to pat Yaffa on the face. Yaffa gets mad and swats him back.
ReplyDeleteI wants to be friends, so sumtimes I roll over and show Bonnie my tummy. Other times, I runs away. As for going down the stairs, it was FUN! Bonnie seems really mad, but she never hurts me.
ReplyDeleteThat was some pat!
ReplyDeleteWith 5 cats -- well y'know what happens!?
ReplyDeleteAbby says I hafta to be one to keep everyone on the straight and narrow. If I hafta paw paw someone I do; if I hafta MEOW real loud I will do that too. Everyone listens to me!

That's ok Bonnie - Me and Beau Beau pats each other on the face too. Sometimes we just walks by each other and gives each other a friendly whack, uh I mean pat.
ReplyDeleteLove it! could easily be the dialogue between our little Tibetan Terrier Sophie and her big brother Max, a Bearded Collie...she rules the roost.
ReplyDelete"A Love-Tap Gone Bad" is defined as any pat on another being that makes them stumble, fall, or see stars.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I'm a bully, too, but I am also a great cuddler with my brother. Work on the cuddling and then maybe the bullying won't hurt as badly!
Ouch. Poor Victor.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'd find him very cuddly if you got just a bit closer, Bonnie!
Yup, I totally believe you.
ReplyDeleteI have to keep Mittens straightened out too! You just gotta keep on top of things.
ReplyDeleteIf he's like Buddah, he LIKED it...
ReplyDeletehmm that's what Molly says whenever Mum asks her how come I falled off the bed or the couch. She just sits there looking totally innocent and says "I didn't push him" and Mum always believes here. Lucky I also think it is pretty funny, so I don't mind at all. hehe.
ReplyDeleteI think it's awful. I'm the baby cat and I had to fight and fight and fight to get recogized by my surrogate Mamma cat, Georgia. She still ignores me unless I rub my behind against her face... I don't know why you older cats don't get how cute we little cats can be!

Look, you guys. I've never actually hurt Victor. It's not like he's cowering under the bed or anyfing. I just have to make sure he keeps his distance from me. And let my people know how they've failed me. I will NOT mother him. He's old enuf not to need that. Our spats are brief and usually, HE STARTS IT!
ReplyDeletethe cats are so funny!! a hug for yours =^^= the cats in the basquet

ReplyDeleteAm kind of worried by Victor's silence over the last few days...hope Bonnie has not pushed him off somewhere worse than the stairs!!
ReplyDeleteHey, accidents do happen . . . lotza times when I "pat" Meep, he winds up on the floor.
