Nina's Train Show Adventure

As you may have read on Friday, I snuck along with my family to a "train show". On Friday night, we went to a house with trains in the basement. Instead of big wooden tables, this basement had an entire miniature world! It had trees and houses and tiny beans and even a dog in a pick-up truck. (click any picture to biggify)
See how the train is going over the water? Well, I checked and that water... it's frozen solid! But not cold!! I wanted to lick it, but Mom wouldn't let me.

The train show itself was a little bit very scary and I don't recommend it for kitties. It was very loud and there were lots and lots of beans not watching their feet. I was brave and went to look at other layouts with my beans.

I thought chasing trains might be fun, except for making beans angry.
I DIDN'T DO IT! I swear, it was like this when I got there!

See the gray kitten sniffing that squirrel? I tried purring at them before I realized they aren't real. I can hardly believe this is only a model! Beans can make some pretty impressive stuff when they want to.
THIS is my favorite train at the show!

Unfortunately, even though I was there to snoopervise, Mom caught a cold and says she needs to rest instead of helping us blog. Everyone else is ok and Victor's jealous now that I went to the train show and he didn't. Next time, he can go and I'll stay home.

I sure hope Dad gets trains running in our basement soon! Instead of going to the show, we'd have the show here at home! Mom says she's got lots more pictures to post on Flickr. Well, she can do that after she rests and helps us blog. I need a nap, too! Purrs!

  16. What you need to do now is train your Dad to do what you want! I am currently running a course of Daddy training, so do stop by and learn how to get your Dad wrapped around your little dew claw! Then you'll get your own little trains to play with in the basement I'm sure! :)
