I was furry brave yestuesday. I wented outside wif Mom! I wanted to see da birds an baby bunny an check on da catnip, but Mom maded me stay outa da deep bushes an wouldn't let me go unner da deck. Geesh, I's a big boy; I can take cares of myself! She wanted to clip sumfin to my collar an I sed NO WAY an went inside. I's gonna asplore my way or nawt at all.
I think you are right Victor--we should only be hugged when we want to be hugged!

I don't like being hugged, so no days are Hug Your Cat Day here! My human can brush me and pet me, rub my tummy and even occasionally pick me up when I'm in a good mood, but No Hugging!

Mom can only dream about Hug Your Cat Day. I don't want to be hugged, ever. I like to be cuddled, though, if she doesn't try to hold me. I will snuggle up right next to her and use her arm for a pillow. If you let your Mom put the leash on you, you might get to do more exploring. It's worth a try.
