Georgia on My Mind

Dear furiends, we have lost another blogging friend this week. Cheysuli and Gemini's sisfur Georgia has gone to the Rainbow Bridge to meet Bonnie Underfoot and so many other good furiends. Though Georgia was sick for a long time, she outlived the estimates and died at home, with dignity.

Friday is the 1-year anniversary of Bonnie's passing and we're thinking of putting up a slide show. Though I never met her (she'd have scared me, I'm sure!) I love seeing pictures of her and hearing Victor's stories.

Oh, and for the record, I *do* still fit under the couch!

  1. We are very sad and happy about Georgia, she sure took control of her own life up to the end! We know she's probably up ther and Bonnie is hissing at her. I can't believe it has been a year since we lost Bonnie.

Has it been a year already? A slide show of Bonnie would be a nice tribute to her.

  7. We didn't know Georgia but it is always sad to read about a kitty passing away. We are going to go over to their blog and send some good thoughts to them.

We didn't know Bonnie either but we would love to see a slideshow tribute. We think it is a great idea!

  8. There were supposed to be thunderstorms last night too and Momma figured that if Georgia went during a thunderstorm it was because Bonnie Underfoot was just waiting for her! We will think of Bonnie and Iggy and Georgia horsing around and angling for Top Cat whenever we hear thunder now!

  9. I am very sad about Georgia too, but happy for her that she chose to go in her Mom's arms, showing their love for each right till the end, and that she's now young and healthy again at the Bridge.

Yes, please do a slide show in tribute to Bonnie Underfoot. She was such a lovely, feisty little madam! I miss her and can't believe it's a year since she went to the Bridge! xxx
