Concats to Karl & Ruis!

Concatulations to the Happy Couple! See you all at the reception!

Update: Our hearts are furry heavy as we've just learned that Prince Muddy Paws' sweet big brofur Dandelion has passed away. Him was 19 years old! Mom was just finkin of him yesterday. Terry, Muddy, and fambly, you're all in our hearts an purrayers right now.

We received dis poem frum a Flickr furiend last week. It's furry movin an want to present it in Dandelion's memry. Kitties, look out, yur moms' an dads' eyes may start leakin AGAIN. If so, gif em sum Fur an Purr Therapy.

Gone But Not Forgotten

When a dearest beloved pet
Passes away
Our thoughts are filled with them
Each and every day.

Hardly a single moment
Passes by
That our hearts aren't heavy
And we want to cry.

Everywhere we look
A reminder is there
Causing some old memory
To quickly stir.

At night when we close our eyes
And yearn for blessed sleep
We awaken with churning thoughts
Of old memories once buried deep.

We never get over
The loss of our beloved pets
They'll always be with us
Until our own very end.

No, we never get over it
It would be futile to even try
But the hurt begins to lessen
As time passes following our goodbye.

Time lessens and heals our pain
While our life continues on
Through knowing our dear beloved pet
Is in a safe and peaceful home
Where no suffering exists.

  6. Such sad news, but what a sweet poem. A wonderful way to remember friends who have gone ahead....

Just wanted to stop by and see how our little buddy is doing. We don't hiss much, but we can give a try now and again if you would like.

  7. I so enjoyed the wedding. We were sorry to hear about Dandelion. He was not a cat we knew at all.

  10. Dude, I didn't know Bonnie had gone to the Bridge to be with Pandora! I'm so sorry, but mum has been very busy lately.

Those girls - remember how they sat on one side at the parties and cursed us youngsters?

Victordude and MamaJen - it is so hard to lose a fur-iend, but soon the sadness turns to memories.

Mama cq never got over Ambrose's sudden trip to the Bridge thanks to that lorry, but she is getting past losing Pandora.
