Nina: If you're using the flash, I have nothing to say!

Good: Mom caught a bird! Bad: She let it go.

Nina: Oh Victor! Just LOOK at all the birds outside! I wish I could catch one!

Victor: ::Sigh:: Me too, Nina! But dem birds nefur come inside da howse.

Nina: Did you hear Mom's story last night? It was very exciting!

Victor: Yea, cept fur da ending. I'm proud of her fur catchin a sparrow all by herself, but why'd she hafta let it go?

Nina: I think she did the right thing. That poor sparrow didn't mean to fly inside the car! Mom was right to jump out and let it fly away.

Victor: Maybe, but ::lip smack:: I wish she'd brot it home fur us instead.

Nina: Maybe next time, Victor. Maybe next time.

Tax Day?

Oh, Mom and Dad have been talking about something called "taxes" and Mom played with all her piles of papers and she set some pages aside for me to sit upon and put some in the recycling bin for Victor and put some back in other stacks! Victor said we help by sitting in the recycling or lying on the papers. He said Bonnie Underfoot was a great helper at tax time, and he showed me pictures to prove it!

Oh, in this picture, I think Bonnie looks like her brain fell out, and that's about how Mom looked when she finished playing with her papers, but she didn't roll around on top of them. Maybe she should have, then she'd have been happier about it?

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I DID convince Mom that I'm not a bunny. See? No more bunny ears. Did she get my best side?

Oh, what am I to do? Mom wants to make me an Easter Bunny! I don't want to be a bunny, I'm a kitty! I *like* my little ears! I *like* my long tail! See what a pretty kitty I am? Why, oh why does she want me to be a bunny?
